SNL had a taxing October with a full four hosts for Season 42, but November will get really Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch himself will host the first November SNL, the very weekend that Marvel’s Doctor Strange hits theaters.

The announcement came during the October 22 hour, as hosted by Inferno star and nine-time SNL veteran Tom Hanks, along with Lady Gaga as musical guest. In addition to Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch hosting, Solange Knowles will serve as musical guest.

Neither Cumberbatch nor Solange have ever appeared on the series, though Solange’s sister Beyonce has served has musical guest on two separate occasions (plus two in Destiny’s Child). In the meantime, Marvel’s Doctor Strange will hit theaters on November 4, while Cumberbatch can also be seen in Sherlock Season 4 in 2017.

SNL may come forth with additional November 2016 hosts soon, but stay tuned for more from Tom Hanks’ return, as well as Benedict Cumberbatch’s first SNL hosting in November. Happy Halloween in the meantime!
