Tahj Kjelland is a local MC who's calling has brought him to aid the teenagers in the Fort Peck reservation. "I've been helping organizations that have been geared towards teaching kids how to utilize Hip Hop to express themselves. Once I started to see their world view on the reservation, I felt (a need) to give kids an ability to express themselves."

One of the more well-known Missoula rock bands, High Voltage is on a quest for a female vocalist. Their current singer has moved on, so now their search begins for the next local star.
According to their Facebook update:
We are looking for someone who is experienced, dedicated, and passionate about creating original music. The sound we are going for is a little different - male rap and female singing over a rock base.

Parents feel a sense of safety sending their young adults to a university that prides itself on academic achievement while avoiding many of the problems that plague larger institutions.
However, the current investigation concerning sexual assaults involving students on and off campus might leave many parents wondering just how safe the university really is.

I've had vivid nightmares ever since I posted the very eerie and "strange sounds" that has Missoula talking and looking toward the sky. Awful, awful nightmares. My wife woke me from a dream last night where she says I was screaming like she's never heard me scream before. I don't recall dreaming about aliens, nor about 2012. Nothing like that. It was more so about the circumstances of yesterdays event and how I felt enormous pressure from the community to maintain my integrity. It was as if a hundred voices had questions all at the same time - people yelling in my ear saying that I was lying, or that they were frightened and wondering where they needed to go for their family's safety. It all became so much that I had to start yelling back. And that's when I woke up.
Strange Sounds Over Skies of Missoula, Montana [VIDEO]
Warning: The sounds in this video may be disturbing to some viewers. Reports have been pouring in from all over the world about strange sounds heard in the skies. Some claim that these unusual low-pitch, metallic sounds coming from overhead are “The Sound of The Apocalypse,” while others say it’s the sound of plates below the Earth surface shifting. Whatever these are, my phone was able to pick up “something unexplained” a few blocks off Reserve Street on the north side of Missoula.
