When I went running outside last week (post-Snowpocalypse 2012), I felt pretty darn hardcore. My shoes were soaked within the first minute, I couldn’t feel my feet the entire way and drivers whose cars were struggling to move over the snowy terrain looked at me like I needed to be committed.

When I arrived home, I felt more accomplished than I have after finishing any race. I was so proud of my feat that I tried to casually slip it into conversations as much as possible.

For instance, if my neighbor said something like, “I can’t believe they haven’t plowed our street yet. This is terrible!” I might respond with, “Yeah, it is. But not as terrible as the four-mile run I did earlier.”

Then I logged onto Facebook to check out the Frosters Anonymous page that everyone seemed so excited about. According to a recent article in the Missoulian, the page started out as a way for a few Missoula locals to poke fun at the crazy weather we had last week. It quickly went viral, however, earning nearly 4,000 “likes” as of Tuesday afternoon.

When I started clicking through the photos, I came across this:

Turns out, I’m not as hardcore as I thought I was, because it appears that I’m definitely not the only one who is completely ignoring the weather. And even I’m not crazy enough to wear a bikini outside in the middle of January.
