‘Kardashians’ Spawns Seventh Series, Rob + Blac Chyna Getting Spinoff
Here are six (SIX!) spinoff series Keeping Up With The Kardashians has produced since the show's 2007 premiere:
- Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami
- Kourtney and Kim Take New York
- Khloe & Lamar
- Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons
- Dash Dolls
- I Am Cait
And as of today (June 1), there's a seventh to add to the list — E! News reports that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna will star in a new six-part docu-series called Rob and Chyna, set to premiere later this year. The show will chronicle the couple's love story, engagement and pregnancy and Rob and Blac Chyna will both additionally serve as executive producers.
"[We're] thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place," E! Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development Jeff Olde said. "[We're] excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.
Rob and Chyna announced their engagement in April and Chyna shared news of her pregnancy shortly after in May.
Chyna's had a notorious love/hate relationship with her future in-laws: Once a good friend of Kim Kardashian's, Chyna — who was previously engaged to Kylie Jenner's on-again/off-again boyfriend, Tyga — eventually grew apart from The Kardashians, and delivered a few jabs at Kylie and Tyga via social media. Chyna and Tyga also have a young son together, King Cairo.
In disbelief that E!'s Kardashian universe is expanding, or does it make complete sense? Tell us if you'll tune in to Rob and Chyna.
