Reality Show Seeking Montana Loggers Eager for Trip to Siberian Forests
Montana loggers fed up with an unsteady paycheck and American red tape will soon have an opportunity to put saw blades to work in Siberia, as long as they're willing to be monitored by a reality TV crew.
Raw TV producers will be traveling to Montana between October 31 and November 8 seeking qualified applicants.
"We're the makers of the popular series 'Gold Rush,' which you might know on the Discovery Channel," said Raw TV casting producer Gemma Gibbs. "We're producing a brand new series about an American logger from Montana called Sean Vann. Sean is looking for a crew of highly skilled American loggers to work with him out in Siberia for three and a half months, this coming January through April in 2014."
Though interesting personalities are definitely a plus for the show, Gibbs said that skill set is the number one priority.
"We're really looking for a really super-skilled feller-bunch operator, a skidder, a process operator, a loader driver, and a truck driver," Gibbs said. "We're absolutely looking for people that are highly skilled and super experienced... They will receive a highly competitive salary and all expenses will be covered."
