Two young men were arrested by the Ravalli County Sheriff's Office in connection with the same-day theft of five vehicles in the Stevensville and Florence areas.

The thefts on September 15 left damaged vehicles in different locations. Damage has been estimated at several thousand dollars, according to officers. One male was arrested Monday evening and another juvenile had already been taken into custody. According to Sheriff Chris Hoffman, the two were also involved in three other vehicle thefts in Stevensville.

One juvenile will be charged with felony theft, felony criminal mischief and felony criminal endangerment, Hoffman said. The other suspect is charged with felony theft.

Hoffman said in a news release that three other juvenile males were arrested last week in connection with September 24th Victor area break-ins, theft of alcohol and stealing four different vehicles, all of which were recovered. Charges included burglary, felony theft and misdemeanor criminal mischief and theft.
