Two down-and-out homeless men in Montana began fighting over a pork chop that ultimately landed one person in the hospital, and the other behind bars.

In Missoula, underneath a high traffic bridge along the Clark Fork River, there is a widely known stretch of land that is considered to be a hot bed for transient activity. And on a cold October night with resources limited, we can only assume that a hot plate is certainly hard to come by for people that reside in that area. One man seemingly became so engrossed by the tasty food that he allegedly struck another with a long board after arguing over the meal.

The victim suffered a significant amount of blood loss and was rushed to a nearby hospital. The attacker has been apprehended and is currently detained at the Missoula County Jail.
