I love when one of our listeners emails to ask advice, I may not always have the best advice, but you may be able to help. This comes from Sara...

Hey Aaron, I need your help!

I had one of the worst airplane situations of my life last weekend and I need help on how to not let it happen again.

I'm one of those people who likes to be left completely alone when I'm flying. I even wear headphones WHILE I'm reading a book so that people will know I don't want to talk.

But that didn't stop the passenger next to me on my last flight.

He kept touching my arm and motioning for me to take my headphones off just so he could make stupid small talk or bore me with a long-winded story about his job.

I didn't want to be rude and tell him to shut up, but he was driving me crazy and it ruined my relaxing plane ride.

How should I handle this in the future so that it doesn't happen again?

Thanks,
Sara

What are your thoughts? I think if someone has headphones on and is reading you leave them alone. Should Sara have just told the guy to buzz off or what?
