Pitbull's performance at the 2012 American Music Awards began before the applause for Christina Aguilera had even died down, so we had a feeling they were tied together in some way. Sure enough, after a ferocious rendition of 'Don't Stop the Party,' Pitbull brought out Xtina for a cameo on their new collaboration.

Surrounded by girls and backed up by a video screen flashing bright colors, the rapper got the AMA party started with his latest single. Just in case any fans down front in the pit weren't feeling him, Pitbull left the stage and went into the crowd to crank up the party another notch.

True to his word, the Rolling Stone cover subject wasn't ready to quit when 'Don't Stop the Party' finally finished. "Let's take it back to the '80s!," the rapper shouted as viewers heard an updated version of the synth riff from a-ha's classic pop hit 'Take On Me.' That's when Aguilera returned to the stage just long enough to sing the hook from 'Feel This Moment,' her new team-up with Pitbull.

'Don't Stop the Party' and 'Feel This Moment' both appear on Pitbull's album 'Global Warming,' which finally hits stores this week. The record also features 'Back in Time,' his 'Men in Black III' theme song.
