Spring Yard Work: More Fun with a Beer in One Hand

I’m allergic to grass, and when I mow I have to wear a respirator and goggles. At this early point in the season, though, I don’t bother with that stuff. But this weekend I discovered that the grass has actually come out of hibernation sooner than I did. It’s already starting to green up (especially the moss), and the terrifying, throat-constricting allergens are being loosed from the ground with every stroke of the rake.

Before I know it, I’m huffing and puffing, getting dizzy, and collapsing on the ground, gasping for breath, calling for the asthma inhaler and the Beefeater’s.

New Facebook Messenger App Update Scares The Hell Out Of Us

The best and worst aspect of email and instant messaging is that they make it easy to blow people off and give you at least a glimmer of hope that your recipient hasn’t seen your unreturned messages. Should I Ask Him Out? [LISTENER E-MAIL]

Lori writes:

I heard you talking on the radio a few weeks back about a girl that had a relationship question so I thought I would give it a shot, maybe your audience can help.

Every morning on my way into work, I stop at Zootown Brew and have my coffee and a muffin. For the past two months, I have been joined by a guy who also frequents the coffee shop before work.

Did you know Barbie lives in Russia? No, she didn’t hop into the Barbie Corvette and hightail it out of town to get away from smooth crotch Ken and the rest of her friends. This is an actual woman that looks ridiculously like the popular doll. Russian Barbie is real — Corvette not included.

Apparently, Androids Will Replace Hookers By 2050

We bet you anticipate, nay expect, androids to be incorporated into everyday life by 2050 – but we bet you didn’t count on the fact that in 2050 our “ladies of the night” could also require oil changes and scratch-resistant coatings.

Mall Walking (Photo by Brendon Thorne/Getty Images)

Does Shopping at the Mall Make YOU Feel Old?

I went to the mall yesterday to pay my cell phone bill at Verizon and I have to say, for the first time, walking by some of those stores made me feel old. Am I the only one or do you know what I mean when you walk by certain stores and (no longer being a teen) feel like you're out of the loop?
