One Million Dollar Bail For Bozeman Man Charged With Deliberate Homicide After Allegedly Shooting Girlfriend
A Bozeman man is in the Gallatin County jail on $1 million bail after allegedly shooting his girlfriend to death early Wednesday morning.
Bozeman Detective Captain Andy Knight said 35 year-old Tobias Fagiano was charged with deliberate homicide.
"We had a 9-1-1 call at about 5:20 this morning from a man who said he had shot his girlfriend," Knight said. "Our officers went to the residence on Buckrake Avenue in Bozeman and found a 37 year-old female who was deceased. She has been identified as Darci Buhmann. At about 6:30 a.m. the suspect, identified as Anthony Fagiano, showed up at the Law and Justice Center. Officers questioned him and he confessed to killing his girlfriend."
Knight said an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact nature and cause of death.
The homicide investigation will determine if there were previous instances of domestic violence, or if any alcohol or drugs might have been involved in the woman's death.
Fagiano remains in the Gallatin County Jail on $1 million bond, His next court appearance will be March 25.
