After seeing everyone so happy today that I brought in my dog, I am convinced, animals in the work place boost employee moral. Except of course if you have someone allergic to a certain animal. Luckily that is not the case at my work, and people are falling in love with my newest family addition Gypsy!

I do understand that animals can be distracting as you are trying to get work done but normally happy employees are productive employees. So the question becomes when is a dog improving moral and when does he or she become a distraction?

Bringing a dog to a radio station is not exactly the best idea with all the cords, wires, and computer equipment but the whole staff was asking me to bring in my dog so they could meet her. She is adorable, very friendly, and loves attention.

Do you think bringing animals to work are a good thing for moral or more of a distraction?
