Hey it’s Nicole here! More than anything, I LOVE discovering new music or just finding a new song or artist to obsess over...

I’ve decided to share my obsession with you each week by playing my ‘Pick of the Week‘ every single day on 107.5 ZooFM in the 3pm and 6pm hours.

This week I chose an up-and-coming trio from Brooklyn, New York who call themselves Wet. Like the majority of new music I find, I stumbled upon their song 'The Middle' on a random Spotify playlist.

Looking back, I must have been in a super emo mood that day because this song immediately hit me right in 'the feels.' I literally stopped what I was doing and my breath caught in my chest when I heard the opening voice that was equally haunting and beautiful. From that point on I was hooked.

My experience working for the top radio stations in Los Angeles, taught me a lot about the fickleness of Top 40 songs. Music trends can and do change overnight. So a hit song today, could completely drop off tomorrow.

With that being said, I believe this group and this song have so much potential. It literally takes just one song or one moment to put a group like this on the map. And I think Wet can make that happen...

The Middle is catchy and relatable with a steady rhythm that makes it easy to listen to. And with the world being the way that it is, I think we could all use something that comes easy...
