This weekend, it will be a battle between 3-D barbarians and vampires for the top spot at the box office.

Opening Friday is the 3-D adventure ‘Conan in the Barbarian,’ starring Jason Momoa as the titular character, a man who is thrust into a dangerous and unknown world after his father is murdered and his village is destroyed.

If that doesn’t float your boat, you could always check out the hotly anticipated ‘Fright Night’ remake, starring Anton Yelchin as a teenager who learns that his neighbor (Colin Farrell) a blood-sucking vampire. Not exactly light material, but hey, at least it isn’t ‘Twilight’!

Also in theaters are ‘One Day,’ a romantic drama starring Jim Sturgess and a British Anne Hathaway, and the more family-friendly ‘Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D.’ (Yep, 4D.)
