Nevada Issues License Plates for Google’s New Self Driving Car Technology

Remember in 'Back the the Future' when Marty McFly and Doc hop into that sweet DeLorean and fly into the future? Well, the future is here ... sort of. Ahem, ladies and gentleman, introducing self-driving vehicle technology from Google.Yes, the genius minds at Google who brought us the demise of the phone book, encyclopedia and countless other lame printed things now bring you a car that drives itself. The good people at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles issued Google the first ever plates for these new self-driving cars so they can be tested on public streets. Not to worry, extensive testing has already been done and testers have even gone as far as driving on the Las Vegas Strip to prove the car is as safe. Hell it could be safer than human drivers since computers can't get drunk or distracted oggling street walkers.
