Montana State University Beats The University of Montana in National University Rankings

U.S. News and World Report recently released its rankings of the best colleges and universities and some of Montana's schools stacked up pretty well. In the regional colleges division, Carol College was ranked number one in the west for the second year in a row. Montana Tech of the University of Montana came in sixth, while Rocky Mountain College in Billings came in 9th.

In the national rankings, Montana State University placed 189th overall, ten points higher than The University of Montana which was ranked 199th . Harvard and Princeton tied for first place in the national rankings.
