Montana Man Reunited with Pet Bird Lost During Divorce

You know it's a nasty divorce when your soon-to-be ex starts selling your pets, but that's what happened to a Montana man who lost his pet Macau parrot Love Love nearly five years ago. 

Mike Taylor assumed he'd never find Love Love again, but a friend spotted the bird at a parrot sanctuary in Great Falls Montana, where it was residing after it badly bit the finger of an abusive woman who'd bought it from Taylor's ex.

After Taylor convinced the owner of the sanctuary that the bird was indeed his, the pair were reunited, KRMG-TV reports. Taylor says the bird recognized him right away, and they went back to playing, "peeky-boo," and getting on as if no time passed. Taylor even got Love Love's old cage back for free, when a person who purchased the content of his ex's storage locker heard his story.
