Montana Gas Prices Rising at Slow Pace
Gas prices keep climbing in Montana, here’s what to look for in the week ahead.
“Montana prices have slowly continued to increase here averaging about $3.35 a gallon,” said Gas Buddy petroleum analyst Patrick Dehan. “The direction has continued to be slightly upward I would expect perhaps the same situation to unfold in the week ahead.”
The lowest prices in Montana can be found in Billings where the average price is $3.32, but where competition has driven the price down to $3.15.
The national average is 3.64 per gallon, a full 22 cents lower than last year. According DeHaan, Montana should expect to see another week of slowly climbing prices at the pump.
