An interesting species of dinosaur skeleton discovered in Montana has been named “Obamadon” because it had long, straight teeth like the President. Donald Trump immediately demanded to see the fossil’s birth certificate. Just kidding! No. But we are serious about the dinosaur part..

The Leptochamops denticulatus is a miniature, bug-devouring lizard that was unearthed here in Montana a few decades ago, yet after another close look some scientists have decided to rename the creature "Obamadon" because of it's uniquely long chompers.

According to Reuters:

"The lizard has these very tall, straight teeth and Obama has these tall, straight incisors and a great smile," said Nick Longrich, a paleontologist at the school in New Haven, Connecticut.

The Obamadon used to wander the Big Sky country nearly 150 million years ago, and according to scientists, found its demise when an asteroid slammed into earth.

Longrich said he waited until after the recent U.S. election to name the lizard.

"It would look like we were kicking him when he's down if he lost and we named this extinct lizard after him," Longrich explained to Reuters in the interview.
