Montana, Best or Worst State for Road-trips ?

When it comes to 'road' trips, I think of Montana on the top of the list just because we are on the road a lot in this big state. Where did we land when it comes to best and worst road trip states.

Gas is cheaper, and people are believing more in travel then ever before. Wallethub took 21 key metrics, including each state’s attractions, road conditions, costs and even weather patterns to decide which states are best for those hitting the road this summer.

We did rank high in the low cost of lodging! Otherwise we were in the bottom and overall rank in at number 33. Road conditions we were given low marks, and a mediocre score for scenic attractions which seems odd to me seeing as we have some of the greatest beauty in the country but I am a bit biased.
