Missoula’s Own Miss Montana Finalist

Will Missoula be the home of the next Miss Montana? Colleen Asby has qualified as a finalist and will take part in the three night Miss Montana Scholarship program June 14th through the 16th. The Miss Montana Scholarship Program is held in Glendive and talented young ladies from across the state will enjoy a week of rehearsals, appearances and fun.
Colleen is the daughter of Lynne Towns. She is currently attending the University of
Montana pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Education with a Special Education
Endorsement. Colleen would like to teach health and physical education on the high
school level and create a nonprofit organization to help improve the health of our youth.
Her platform is “Harvesting Healthy Habits: Growing Gardens in Public Schools.”
