Missoula Maulers Are 1st Place

For the first time in franchise history, the Missoula Maulers find themselves in first place in the AWHL standings at the mid season Christmas break. The Maulers went on the road this weekend and beat the Billings Bulls 5-4 in thrilling double overtime fashion Friday, then defeated the Gillette Wild 5-0 Saturday night and completed the 3 game sweep with a 7-2 victory Sunday afternoon. The Maulers will return to the ice when they travel to Helena to take on the second place Bighorns Friday, Dec 30th.
