Missoula Man Charged With Felony Assault With a Weapon [AUDIO]

Too much Christmas cheer between two friends led to a felony charge of assault with a weapon at about 2:30 Wednesday morning at a residence on Pattee Creek Drive in Missoula.

Sergeant Colin Rose with the Missoula Police Department says the two men had been drinking prior to the incident. Rose said the suspect only brandished the weapon, and no shots were fired..

The suspect, 30 year-old Cody Kruger, posted bail of $50,000 and will appear Wednesday afternoon in Missoula justice court.
