Missoula Horseshoe Tourney to Give Kids Free Skateboards

Local non profit 4Missoula is holding a horseshoe tournament this Saturday, August 22nd starting at 10 a.m. at Fort Missoula to help give skateboards to children in need.

It will be fun for the whole family and all skill levels are invited to join the tourney. It's a $30 suggested donation, contact markmullendore@hotmail.com for more information.

Missoula has a blossoming skate scene, a fantastic skatepark and too many underprivileged kids without the proper equipment to take part. 4Missoula is here to find these kids and provide them an opportunity for healthy, outdoor fun.

 

Find the event Saturday at Fort Missoula at the horseshoe pits next to the tennis courts. The goal is to buy 365 skateboards so they can give away one every day for a full year to kids at Watson, CASA, youth homes and other local children's shelters.
