For students wishing to attend Missoula College, officials are inviting them to attend a free application assistance event on Wednesday, August 8, according to Emily Ferguson-Steger, Director of Undergraduate Admissions.

“We have a free application event that’s going to take place next Wednesday, August 8th at the brand new Missoula College on Broadway,” said Ferguson-Stegers. “During that event from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. we will be assisting students in completing the application and completing the free application for federal student air, better known as FAFSA.”

Since paying for higher education is a major piece of the puzzle, there will be extra assistance for students and their parents at the event.

“We will actually have members of our financial aid staff on hand to help students and their families should their families wish to come, because we are open for families and students, as well,” she said. “They will help students fill out the FAFSA. It’s not necessarily the easiest form, but we’re there to help the process run seamlessly.”

Attendees should bring a high school transcript, GED/HiSET score or college transcript. Missoula College will waive the $30 application free and admit prospective students on the spot who submit an online application during the event.
