Missoula & Billings Make Top 10 ‘Best-Run Cities’ in America

WalletHub has revealed the best-run cities in America, and Missoula and Billings made the top 10. And this would be cities that are run well, not cities with the best fun runs, just to be clear.

Missoula came in at #4 and Billings is #7.

How did they come up with the list? WalletHub explains:

To identify the cities that are managed well by their leaders, WalletHub’s analysts compared 150 of the largest U.S. cities across six key dimensions, including financial stability, education, health, safety, economy as well as infrastructure and pollution. We then combined these categories to construct an “Overall City Services” ranking against which we measured the cities’ total per-capita budgets in order to reveal their budgeting efficiency.

 

Translation? Missoula and Billings have great leaders, services, financial stability, education, health and safety, and apparently our tax dollars are spent wisely and our air pollution isn't too bad.
