Miss Montana – Not Your Average Miss America

Representing the state of Montana, Miss America hopeful Alexis Wineman looks like your average contestant – She’s pretty, and tall and has an infectious smile.

But she’s not just like all the others for a very special reason – Alexis is autistic.

She was diagnosed with autism when she was 11, and found it hard to interact with other kids.

But she’s overcome a lot and now travels throughout Montana educating kids on peers with disabilities. Go, Miss Montana!
