I love Disney Pixar's "Up" just as much as the next Disney lover, but I really never thought that flying using a ton of helium-filled balloons was actually humanly possible.

A Canadian man did his best to make his balloon flying dream a reality in Calgary on Sunday when he took off in a lawn chair attached to more than 100 multicolored helium balloons...Sound familiar? Except this was real life...

After floating to what I'm sure was extremely high in the sky (quite possibly without a seatbelt?) in his humble patio vehicle, Daniel Boria abandoned ship and parachuted back to Earth, suffering only minor injuries.

The feat was intended to promote his company, All Clean Natural, Boria told the Toronto Star. Turns out, Calgary police charged him with mischief causing danger to life, and federal charges may also be pending.

"I did anticipate they would be a little upset," Boria said. "I was sitting in a lawn chair looking down through the clouds at 747 airplanes and looking up to a cluster of helium balloons. I rose to a certain altitude and the winds got pretty intense. I was somersaulting out the chair and it felt like minus 30. I watched below as the Stampede and my dream drifted away."

And what a dream it must have been...
