The small community of Lolo, Montana has placed multiple donation cans throughout the town at local businesses set up in the name of 14 year old Connor Flowers who's body had been recovered after the boy had drowned in a pond in Western Montana. This is only the beginning of the efforts to help raise funds for the family who lost their loved one.

According to Detective Jason Johnson of Missoula County, the search and rescue divers recovered the teenagers body in Lolo over last weekend. Connor's body was located about 20 feet away from the shore where the boy had called for help while swimming on Friday night.

Along with the many donation cans at local area businesses, there is currently a silent auction care of Moxie Salon with many donated items. Donations for auction are still being accepted with the help of Katie at (406) 273-3344.

A gathering of friends, family and community will be held today from 2-3:30 in the lower Lolo gym. People are encouraged to bring pencils to "play a beat for Connor". A bake sale will be held today and tomorrow at the Harvest Foods grocery store followed by a car wash on Saturday from 11-4 in the parking lot. All proceeds and donations will go to Connor's family to prepare for his final arrangements.

For more information, a fan page has been set up in Connors remembrance.
