19 year-old Erik Sven Wengren of Lolo will appear Thursday in justice court to answer charges that he threatened on Facebook to attack and shoot students at a school in Wyoming.

Missoula County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jason Johnson says Wengren was interviewed about the threats and arrested last Friday, charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Johnson says Wengren sent profanity-laced messages to his cousin and others in Gillette, Wyoming that he would 'shoot up the school'. When others questioned him on Facebook, Wengren allegedly reiterated his threats, causing school officials in Wyoming to contact authorities in Missoula.

When authorities interviewed Wengren at his mother's home in Lolo, he assured them he was only kidding.

If found guilty, Wengren could spend up to 10 days in jail and pay of fine of up to $100.00.
