LISTENER E-MAIL: How Do I Keep The Male Friend Who Fell In Love With Me?

I don't normally post listener email, but I thought this one was worth sharing.

My closest guy friend, who I have known for almost 5 years, recently confessed that he is falling in love with me. Problem is, I don't feel the same way about him. I really don't want to lose him as a friend, though. How can I let him know that I love him in a strictly platonic way -- without hurting his feelings and ruining our friendship? Is it possible to save our friendship?
