For 31 years, football and basketball fans all over Griz Nation have heard every play from just one voice...Mick Holien. That amazing run will come to a close at the end of this year's men's basketball season.

University of Montana Director of Athletics Kent Haslam says a ceremony to honor Holien has been scheduled just prior to tip-off at Saturday night's Brawl of the Wild Grizzly Bobcat game inside Dahlberg Arena.

"We all love Mick, and he's been such a valuable member of the Griz family and we look forward to honoring him before the Griz Cat basketball game, and recognizing his many years of service to the Lady Griz, football and men's basketball."

Haslam said he hopes that the house will be packed to honor Holien.

"I hope that people will show up," he said. "I know it'll be a great game with the men and the women playing a double header on the same day. Also, we want to show Mick the respect he's earned, and to be able to recognize him for all that he has done."

Just what has Holien accomplished in his 31 years associated with Grizzly athletics?
