Kanye West still has some issues with Nike, but he should be getting over it real soon. According to the New York Post, Yeezy recently inked a deal with rival Adidas worth $10 million.

As we previously reported, West prematurely announced his deal with the sneaker company on Hot 97’s Angie Martinez Show. The G.O.O.D. Music leader said his relationship with Nike went sour after the company denied him royalties because he wasn’t an athlete.

When Martinez asked about whether the deal is done, West responded by saying it’s “official, non-official, official.” The 'New Slaves' rapper concluded by stating that because he was the first hip-hop designer, he was going to be bigger than Walmart.

At the Yeezus tour stop in Nashville last Wednesday (Nov. 27) he continued to slam Nike for not offering him royalties for his popular Air Yeezy sneakers. He particularly took aim at CEO Mark Parker.

“Do you know who the head of Nike is?” West asked the crowd. “No, well let me tell you who he is: His name is Mark Parker, and he just lost culture. Everyone at Nike, everyone at Nike, Mark Parker just let go of culture.”

While we understand West’s frustration, we think he should focus on encouraging people to adopt the three stripes brand instead of dissing the Swoosh.

Hopefully, West will realize his dream and capture the sneaker market again with his own line of kicks at Adidas.

Good luck, 'Ye!
