Justin Timberlake is ready. After talk that he would make a return to music this week, the singer is officially making a comeback.

With more than six years passing since the release of his lauded LP, 'FutureSex/LoveSounds,' Timberlake returns with a viral video titled 'I'm Ready.' The former 'N Sync member, now a married man, walks through a studio in the clip, all while discussing his absence from recording.

"Someone asked me the other day, 'So, are you just done with music?" he says. "It means more to me than anybody else in the world... I'm the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it. As close as I get to it, I don’t know that I could physically torture myself that much, year in and year out and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does and the way that it is right now."

Before he enters the booth and places headphones on his head, the crooner, who released his debut solo album, 'Justified,' in 2002, explains that perfecting a body of work is a process. “I don’t want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don’t love," Timberlake discloses. "You just don’t get that every day. You have to wait for it.”

At the end, he steps to the mic. “I’m ready,” the 31-year-old states.

Sunday (Jan 13) at midnight fans will likely hear new music from JT -- there's a countdown ticking away on his official site. However, he has yet to name who will be joining him on his musical return. Jay-Z and Beyonce are reportedly among those he's collaborated with in the studio.
