Is There Anything In Those ‘Parked’ Railcars in the Bitterroot?

We've been driving by them for a few months now - the hundreds of rail cars on the tracks up the Bitterroot.

The lines of cars are broken into sections to allow traffic and wildlife access east and west across the tracks. And the cars don't extend past the Missoula County Line.

Curiosity has overtaken us and we needed to know, "What's inside?" the open-top cars. The curiosity grew and grew until .... availability of a remote drone.
