It's not really fair to categorize one particular state as dumber than another, considering that every state in America has some level of buffoonery..but still, someone attempted to...

According to the Washington Post, all 50 states can be ranked on levels of intelligence, and sure enough, some states are indeed smarter than others. They factored in plenty of resources, like SAT scores, ACT scores...and percentage of college graduates.

The smartest state? Not Montana, unfortunately. Massachusetts is the most brilliant. Although I'm pretty sure that nearly 80,000 people named Sully would not necessarily agree.

The rest of the 10 smartest states goes: Minnesota . . . New Hampshire . . . Connecticut . . . Wisconsin . . . Kansas . . . Vermont . . . Iowa . . . New Jersey . . . and Colorado.

When it comes to the dumbest? Again, not Montana. Hawaii earned the honors. An island paradise that is still smart enough to know that it is part of the U.S.A.

The rest of the 10 least intelligent states are: Nevada . . . Mississippi . . . Alabama . . . Florida . . . South Carolina . . . West Virginia . . . Louisiana . . . North Carolina . . . and Arizona.
