Imagine being able to see what your neighbors are up to behind closed doors. Imagine no more. A new app for your iPad allows you to see YouTube videos published right here in Missoula.

Just click 'Nearby' in the toolbar of the new, and trending, VideoTube app in the iTunes store and you'll see what everyone is doing in your neck of the woods with their shared videos. You choose the radius of how close (or far away) you want to search, the app filters videos that were uploaded only from the precise location you choose.

While technically not 'stalking' per say, it is a way to see our city through the eyes of another. It's actually quite awesome to see such crazy videos made right here in Missoula (more on that in a bit). Since your neighbor has opted to share his or her adventures on YouTube with us, we all get to, if only for a brief moment, live vicariously through them.

Meet the Montana Neighbors I've Met (While Stalking Them on YouTube):

I learned that if I ever need to get my go-kart running in tip-top shape, I need to go knock on these neighbors' doors. These fellas know their engines, and they have a channel on YouTube dedicated to their handy work. Oh, and hey! I recognize those mountains in the background.

I also have a nearby neighbor who is actually quite a popular YouTube sensation. Some of his comedy sketches made right here in Missoula have received hundreds of thousands of views and comments. Oh, and did I mention, he's my neighbor?!? Cool.

And then, there's some hipsters down the block from me who really seem to get off on saying "Burberry Umbrella." I think they might be too cool for me to be allowed to hang out with them.

Pretty awesome, huh? Now if you were really intuitive, you'd almost be able to figure out what neighborhood I live in just by triangulating the geo-tagged videos above. But you wouldn't do that. Right? I mean, what are you? A stalker, or something?

Download the VideoTube app and start stalking! Tell us if any viral sensations are coming out of your hood in the comment section below.
