How Sleep Deprived are Students in Montana? [STUDY]

It’s a new semester at the University of Montana, which means that many students are cranking out classwork as you read this. While many dorms across the UM campus have their lights on throughout the night, the state of West Virginia is trying it’s hardest to catch a few Z’s. The researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention surveyed nearly 400,000 people around America, even as far as Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands, all the while performing a study of the way people sleep. Then the staff of WebMD scraped the data to put together a rank of the states that sleep the least, and the one’s that sleep the most. West Virginia seems to be the one state that needs the most sleep, nearly one in five people counting sheep.

But where does Montana er, rest on the survey? Here’s a breakdown of where each state finished, featuring the consensus of people who reported that they did not get a good nights sleep in the past 30 days:
