We've all felt the excitement at one time or another... June hits and (like the Alice Cooper song says) "school's out for the summer." Let's face it, most kids can't wait for school to let out in June. However, for some parents and families, when school's out for summer, they start to worry about how they will feed their kid(s) those two extra meals a day normally covered at school. The USDA’s Summer Food Service Program is here to help, but many families may not know about the benefit. SFSP fills that summer meal gap for many low-income families by feeding children when those school meals aren’t available. Help us get the word out to Missoula families... tell a friend, re-post this blog.
