Have You Changed the Light on Your Front Porch?

Yesterday I stopped by Walmart on the way home to grab something for dinner and while I was there I made an additional purchase that cost me 97 cents. Less than one dollar for a green light bulb. Most people have heard the story by now of the Greenlight a Vet program going on, and I wanted to make sure to show my support.

All you are asked to do is change one light to show support of our military and let the soldiers know they are appreciated.  This is one of the most simple social media campaigns that I have seen in recent years but not many have the same meaning behind them. If we can do the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS, we should all be able to step up and show our support for the people that allow us to enjoy freedom on a daily basis.
