This is an overhead view of this year's Missoula Maze. See the miner panning for gold? The first miners came to Montana looking for it. They panned for it, sank shafts and dug tunnels for it. They struck out often. A few struck it rich. Visitors to the Lost Nugget Mine, Missoula Maze's 6th annual hay bale and corn maze, are sure to find fun and adventure in the new puzzle that features Montana gold mining legends!

The entrance to the maze looks like an old mining shafts and leads into a jungle of towering corn stalks. When you make it out of the maze, you can tackle the obstacle course, pick a pumpkin or come back after dark for the ultimate challenge, the night maze, where all clues and markers are removed. Don't worry, staff will be on hand to assist so in case you just can't get out!

Speaking from experience, it's lots of fun for all ages. The Missoula Maze is located at 1010 Clements Road and will be open Sundays Noon-8pm, Thursdays 10am-8pm and Fridays Noon-5 through October, with additional open dates October 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th and 29th. Admission is $8 for teens and adults and $5 for kids age 4-12. More information is available at missoulamaze.com   Happy Halloween, you a-MAZE-ing Missoula folks!  DB
