University of Montana head football coach Mick Delaney on Thursday named the second new assistant coach in two days, Michael "Torrey Myers", who will coach wide receivers.

Myers came to Montana from the University of Washington, where he was a defensive graduate assistant and quality control coach since 2008.

During his stint with the Huskies he assisted with the defensive line and linebackers, tracked opponent and self-tendencies on game day, and assisted in the film breakdown for all of the opponents.

Myers is the second new assistant coach coming to UM. He joins Jake Cookus, who was named the Grizzlies’ safeties coach on Wednesday, Jan. 16.

Myers will begin his duties Friday, Jan. 18. Delaney said he will announce the hiring of one more assistant coach on Friday.
