By virtue of their impressive win over Montana State on Saturday, the Montana Grizzlies will play host to the University of San Diego Toreros in the first round of the FCS playoffs on Saturday, November 29.

The announcement was made in the FCS Selection Show early Sunday morning on ESPNU.

The Montana State Bobcats are also hosting a game Saturday. They will entertain the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

If the Grizzlies win, they will travel to play the fourth seed, Eastern Washington, while with a win in Bozeman, the Bobcats would travel to play the three-time defending National Champions, the North Dakota State Bison, who received the number two seed overall.

The event was marked by the fact that head coach Mick Delaney will be retiring at the close of this season, and there was a special video tribute to Coach Delaney, that featured several of his former colleagues in the coaching ranks, including Sonny Lubick.
