You can glow and go at your own pace for a good cause this Saturday night, April 8.

Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to the 2017 Griz Glow 5K Fun Run starting at 8:45 p.m. on the University of Montana Golf Course. Race check-in begins at 7:30.

You're encouraged to wear whites and other brights for the glow-in-the-dark theme. There's free face-painting, a black-light photo booth, music and OULA! The Iron Griz Restaurant will be selling beverages and there will be entertainment on the course, including live music with the local band Ghost Poppers, and glow zones with fire-twirling and hooping.

This is obviously not something you get to do every Saturday night, so go have a blast. Entry is $35, which includes your glow sticks and LED bracelets and necklaces. Proceeds provide scholarships for children attending UM Campus Recreation youth camps. You can get more information and register right here.

Have fun. Be safe. And glow with your bad self.
