Golf Ball Size Hail Hits Billings

Sunday Funday turned into Sunday "run for cover" day as Billings got slammed with a storm that produced golf ball size hail. 

Some of my friends were fishing, most were inside and thankfully not too many had damage. Though some of my friends have insurance claims on their houses and vehicles. As a matter some have had two insurance claims in last 5 years due to hail. How do you combat hail though? Put a big umbrella over your house?

A hails storm rolled through Billings on Sunday night, denting cars, breaking windows and blowing over power lines. Winds gusted up to 59 MPH along with hail is a dangerous combination. Many were left without power for hours and I imagine many animals and children were scared as well.
