If Gilmore Girls wasn't your thing and you didn't have one foot planted in Luke's diner until the series' 2007 finale, here's the upshot of its disappointing end: Show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino didn't return to write the last batch of episodes, GG suffered terribly for it and, to make matters worse, Sherman-Palladino vaguely alluded to audiences that she had big plans for that final scene. More specifically, Sherman-Palladino told Vulture in 2012 there were "four words" meant to put a perfect cap on Stars Hollow's adventures, and they never saw the light of day.

"I don’t think that’s ever going to happen so, I don’t know," she said when asked if she'd ever share her plans with fans. "Maybe I’ll eventually say the four words. I feel like now I’ll let people down because it’s been so built up."

WELL GET READY TO BE LET DOWN!!!

Yanic Truesdale, who plays uppity inn manager Michel, told Us Weekly in an interview published yesterday (March 31) that he's scanned the revival series' script (Gilmore Girls will return for four episodes on Netflix) and saw that Sherman-Palladino's words will, indeed, be spoken.

"I always felt it was intriguing, like everyone else. I was like, 'How does she know the last four words?'" he said. "But when I read it, I was like, 'Oh, OK. That makes sense.' I can see now why she knew that that would be said."

"Vague" is not a nice color on you, kind sir.

So what could the four words be? Some shots in the dark:

"Kirk is asleep here"
Bed, boat, bench — he's definitely conked out somewhere.

"Grey Gardens is on!"
The ladies LOVE Little Edie. And who can blame them?

"Why can't I just [gestures]"
It's not a true Gilmore adventure if someone doesn't eventually tire of banter.

"The muffin man: Know?"
Another potentially coded, punch-drunk nonsensical observation.

"One, two, three, four"
Sometimes, it's best not to overthink...

"Please don't eat that."
If the sustenance in question is recently harvested, or offers any type of immunity boost.

"Admission: I am selfish"
Maybe wisdom will have come with age — applicable for any character.

"You fired another maid?"
Let's hope Emily doesn't completely change her stripes.

"She sells sea shells"
And she'd do it again!

"Should have picked Harvard."
Truth, Ror.

Give your best guess, and hang tight for more info on the forthcoming Gilmore Girls project.
