Garden City Shootout: 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney, Southgate Mall [EVENT]
May 7, 2012 12:06 PM The City Life Community Center presents the Garden City Shootout, the 18th annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament happening Saturday, and Sunday June 16th and 17th at the Southgate Mall. Athletes will be competing in 23 separate divisions ranging from 4th grade to adult.
Awards and prizes are given to the top two teams in each division.
In past years, team attendance has been as high as 217. This year they are expecting
- over 225 teams
- over 1,087 players
- over 600 games
- over 40 courts taking over Southgate Mall parking lot
- over 100 volunteers
Team Fees are as follows
Youth (grades 4-8) $94
High School $112
Adult (rec/open/coed open) $112

The City Life Community Center is the 2012 beneficiary nonprofit for the Southgate Mall 3 on 3 basketball tournament.
City Life houses 11 non-profit agencies, a public gym, paintball course, Café, and student center. The City Life Community Center: We are family focused with a teen emphasis. We believe every kid counts.
City Life offer’s and sponsor a number of special events throughout the year. These include our monthly Friday Night Hangouts; our annual camps like the Seattle Experience, Surf LA, and our Winter Retreat; several sports/paintball tournaments, and the annual 3 on 3 City Life Community Center basketball tournament.
