Flood Victim Calls News Station While Stuck in a Tree

An Austin, Texas man on an off chance found himself driving through a flash flood last Friday, his car floated a little over half a mile before he was able to get out. At that moment he climbed up a tree and used his phone to get help, the poor guy waited numerous hours for a rescue.

And yet, before help came along, the man also reached out to a local news department and proceeded to give a live interview while the news station was playing footage of the car that his wife sent them. What's crazy is that the anchors had no idea the guy was stuck in the tree until just about a minute into the news report...

The man did another interview later on that day, and he is just fine.
