An argument between 38-year-old Jeffrey Woods and his 14-year-old son ended violently on the night of Tuesday, September 25.

The incident took place on Montana street in East Missoula and was the culmination of a dispute over a messy room that the son refused to clean despite his father's repeated demands.

Full description of the incident by officer Jason Johnson:

Jeffery Woods was charged with assault with a weapon and taken to jail after the Sheriff's office was informed by child protective services. Woods is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, September 26.
