Everyone gets so excited to find a great pumpkin for Halloween. Whether they are looking to carve the pumpkin or just have it for decoration everyone is always focused on the look of the actual pumpkin but to me it really doesn't matter. You can do fun things with any pumpkin that you find as long as you're using creativity and your imagination. Plus you're not going to eat the pumpkin, like you can do with the seeds inside of your pumpkin.

That's right, eating the pumpkin seeds is one of my favorite fall activities. Plus after spending so much time trying to empty your pumpkin of seeds and all the other nastiness in there, it's nice to enjoy a treat for all your hard work.

If you haven't ever tried to bake your pumpkin seeds into a fall treat, the recipe is super simple. All you do is preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Then rinse all the seeds you collect from your pumpkin and toss them with melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds out on a cookie sheet and back for about 45 minutes or until golden brown and you're done. If you want to make clean up easier, make the snack on a sheet of aluminum foil on a cookie sheet.
